The young manager is professional beyond his age and very polite and well spoken.
The food range while limited was very good quality and very generous portion sizes.
The bar staff very friendly and down to earth.
Over all for the price I highly recommend this place for good bang for your buck.
The service was absolutely great! We had a lovely man by the name of Tom serving us all night, and he was one of the most kind and accomodating people i have come across in my time in Perth. He was very quick with his service and even added a little bit of flair. He even went the extra mile and had a conversation in Spanish with my beautiful Chilean wife, Gloria. 10/10 I would 100% recommend coming to this establishment if you want a lovely time with great food and drinks. 👏👏

Writing the review after almost one year of my stay, I came form Sydney to Pert for job. I picked Caps Stirling to stay for a month. It was great experience. Very cooperative staff, neat and clean rooms, excellent service. This hotel will always remain in my memories as a place where I stayed when I visited Perth for the first time
Walked into this beautiful place. It has nice garden you can go down to the river. Staff were great and they had Carlton game on so it was perfect. Prices for food and drink are good with accomadtion as well. Will come back for sure

Price average pub prices, high if compared to other pubs with table service, wouldexpecta bit of saving if I have to do someof the work for them.
Meals were all good, most of us were happy with them, not enough prawns and garlic on Garlic Prawn (2 of the main components of the meal 😉). Good flavour on others.
Great amount of free parking.
A little steep to get to entrance for mobility impaired. Door entrance bit tough if you have wheels.
My experience at Captain Stirling was a mixed one.
There are only two bathrooms and a bathtub. But one shower's knobs were missing! However after raising this issue , it was resolved the next day!
There was basic breakfast provided which was good!
But the wifi was not upto mark.. a guest atleast expects a regular wifi like home with a decent speed. The manager said that this cant be resolved, which wasn't a satisfactory answer.
The fan wasn't sufficient and slow. However the room service was good. Another fan was provided quickly on asking and the cleaners were also friendly and hospitable.
TV channels were almost non existent
Had a great stay here on Saturday night, the Hotel is lovely and cozy sitting near the open fire, drinks were great, food was amazing, the Staff were so lovely and accommodating. The Patrons were very friendly, loved the history of this …
